(More customer reviews)At first I was hesitant to try it. I bought it with the mfcj265w, hooked it up and it worked like a champ. There was only one issue, after about 1000 pages black ink was no longer printing. I did many auto cleans that did not help. Eventually I figured out how to clean the printer head with water from youtube that took care of the problem.
I am recommending this system with the brother lc61 ink all-in-one to a relative and have him return his just bought canon printer to walmart.
I had bought this item originally from the seller's site directly because I also bought extra black ink and wanted to save on shipping cost.

UV Bulk Refill Ink for Brother LC41/LC51/LC61/LC65- 4 Packs Dye-based Ink for Brother MFC 440cn 240c 3360c Review

(More customer reviews)I was very hesitant to buy this product first. Couldn't find any links on how to fill ink and it clearly says no tools required. Once I got it was a very easy to fill the ink and the results were amazing. Highly satisfied.
Procedure to fill the ink in Brother MFC-240C
(1) Use a small knife to cut the paper on the bottom of the catridge. In addition run it across all edges so that it's easy to open the catridge. Make sure you don't run too deep into the cover since it's just plastic sheet protecting the ink inside the catridge.
(2) Open the small round white cover (one that projects outside of the catridge and has no straw in between) which has the black rubber in it using the knife. Remove the very small filter inside the white cover as well.
(3) Start filling ink in that small hole and keep pressing the plastic cover as well. This will push the air inside the plastic cover and absorb the ink. Make sure you don't push too hard else the ink will splash. Repeat this step until it's full.
(4) Put the small filter back and the small white cover with black rubber. Close the catridge. The printer immediately picks it up and starts printing as new.
