(More customer reviews)This generic cartridge fit my Brother 540 printer perfectly, and immediately began generating clear, sharp images that were at least equal to the more expensive OEM toner cartridge it replaced. Good value for cost, although at this early point I can't verify actual number of images produced per toner cartridge.
Hint for Brother printer users: the toner empty indicator on top of your printer is triggered by a signal generated when the toner approaches empty, allowing a light to pass through the cartridge. If you cover the "window" through which this light passes, you can get another few hundred images out of your cartridge. I use electrical tape to cover the small round "windows" placed on the side/top/center.
