(More customer reviews)The Brother 3/4 Inch Black on Clear Matte Labeling Tape is perfect for surfaces that have a matte texture (paper, for example). I often use these for address (or return address) labels. When used on envelopes, the tape blends in so well with the envelope that the text looks like it's printed directly on the envelope. Very nice.
The tape is "crack and peel", meaning the backing for the tape is split/pre-cut along its entire length. This makes it very easy to remove the backing from the label to expose the adhesive surface. Brother's Labeling Tapes are designed to withstand weathering, so they they won't peel whether they're used indoors or outdoors.

The price for these 3/4" tapes is a little steep, but they are well worth it. They are very durable and help you easily create professional-looking labels.
